2021 Amy Carr, a widowed mother, recently decided to take a personal leave of absence. She waved goodbye to her little daughter Emily, who got on the school bus. Amy trot through the woods, passing a series of routine calls while on the run, shortly after encountering several police cars traveling in a hurry. Amy received a bulletin board on her cell phone reporting that all schools in the area were shut down. Amy desperately tries to find more information. so called many times which the combination made her gradually Gathering the details, she learns that there was an active shooter at the high school that killed a girl. Additionally, she concluded that Noah was not home. But went to high school instead after seeing his truck in the parking lot. A mechanic with a shop near the school tells Amy the police are searching for Noah’s truck. He added that four other vehicles besides Noah’s is being searched as well A police officer via 911 dispatcher asks questions about Noah and Amy. Which leads her to wonder if Noah was a sniper in the school. In the next call The police told Amy that Noah was not a shooter. And the shooter wasn’t a student, Amy eventually made her way to the highway where she met the Lyft driver, who took her to high school. Along the way, Amy called the shooter’s cell number. which her boss had implied The shooter answers but hangs up. After a brief exchange, Amy discovers that the shooter is a former school employee. Police called Amy mocking her for calling the shooter and thwarting their negotiations. Noah calls Amy. But the line was short and Noah was clearly under stress. The police called Amy back to ask again if she could call the shooter. Hoping that she would distract him so the police could break into the room where the hostages were located. Amy arrives on the scene and during she makes a short call to the sniper. She heard gunfire and lost contact with both the shooter and Noah. standing next to the police fence around the school Amy sees Noah appear and the two reunite happily. on the way home Amy’s mom called and told Amy she was going to pick up Emily. Noah posted on social media in which he condemned the school shootings and encouraged his audience to bravely fight them.
